monmouthAllison Bachman was confirmed in 2010, and has enjoyed many activities at TCC, including youth group, 30 Hour Famine, and especially the trip to Philadelphia which was an amazing experience for her. She has been with the Women’s Ensemble Chorus through her high school years, as singing and songwriting is one of her passions. Ali is also active in the Trumbull Police Cadet program, and is seeking a career in law enforcement and hopes to work for the federal government in the future. She will attend Monmouth University in New Jersey majoring in criminal justice and homeland security. She also hopes to participate in the ROTC program at Rutgers University.

ccsu Jeremy Hopwood was confirmed at TCC in 2010, and participated in Youth Group and activities such as 30 Hour Famine, a Heifer Trip, and retreats. He also contributed to special musical events at TCC as a featured drummer. He is graduating from St. Joseph’s High School, where he was a member of the Track and Field, and Cross Country teams. Jeremy will be attending Central Connecticut State University where he has been accepted into the Honors Program, and will study Mechanical Engineering.

uconnJoseph Mancini was baptized at TCC in 1997 and confirmed in 2010. His grandfather, George Finley, was his mentor.   Joe has volunteered for the past four years for the Make-A-Wish Foundation – Connecticut, the past two years for Trumbull Little League, and helped out with two of the TCC Vacation Bible Camps.  Joe will be graduating from Trumbull High and will be continuing his education at the University of Connecticut – Storrs this fall, where he intends to major in Business.

stmichaelsOlivia Nestro was baptized and confirmed at TCC and has been very involved in church activities. She has been a Church School teacher and a Vacation Bible School Counselor. Olivia has been on many field trips, the Mission trip to Philadelphia, and has participated in Youth Group and Outreach. At Trumbull High School, she was President of the S.T.A.N.D. club, and a three-season athlete participating in Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track. She was chosen to be captain of the Cross Country and Indoor Track teams. She will be attending Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont, and is planning to join the Peace Corps, and possibly become a Social Worker.

loyolaTessa Neubauer was confirmed at TCC, has volunteered to be a Sunday School teacher, and participated in Youth Group. In high school, Tess was a Link Crew Leader and the President of the S.T.A.N.D. Club. She attends the Aquaculture School in Bridgeport. After graduation, she is on her way to Loyola University in Chicago. Tess is so happy and grateful for her church family that helped her grow, and embraced her with open arms.
