Awakening to Presence: An Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

With regular practice, mindfulness meditation creates possibilities for transformation. Increased awareness, presence, peace, and equanimity are possible. Join this introductory four-week workshop taught by Kirsten Nestro. Classes include an overview of mindfulness meditation, guided breath and body meditations, grounding practices, heart practices, and mindful practices for working with emotions. No meditation experience is necessary! Classes will take place in the Round Room at TCC on March 20, March 27, April 3, and April 10th from 6-7p.
