During this time of transition, your Board of Deacons remains available to assist with any congregational needs, and can facilitate the connection to either Rev. Gingras or Rev. Shipley in the event of a pastoral support need.

A slight change for our faithful volunteers:  when you sign up to usher you will also be our greeter and when you sign up to greet, you will also serve as ushers.  We ask that you stand in the narthex to hand out bulletins, welcome members and visitors and direct folks into the sanctuary or the round room.  During the service, you will still take collection, count the attendees and pick up bulletins after service. The Deacon of the Day will introduce themselves to you and be on hand to respond to any inquiries from visitors.

We encourage everyone to participate in our worship services this summer as usher/greeter, layreader and coffee hour (soon to be lemonade) hosts.  The sign up board will be relocated in the narthex.

Confirmation Sunday will be on June 1st.  Pastor Paul Bryant Smith will be helping us to welcome our newest members, Sophia Hopwood, Colin McLevy, Kayley McPartland, Emma Roca and Rachel Roca.  Come and support these wonderful young people as they continue on their faith journey with us.

On June 15th, Reverend Diane Stevenson will be leading our worship service.  Rev. Stevenson currently serves at the Norfield Congregational Church in Weston, CT as the Pastoral Associate for Wholeness Ministries.  Previously she was the Minister of the North Stamford CC and the Associate Minister of the Wilton Congregational Church.  She is also the Director of Sustainability for a commodities company where she works to assure a social and environmental responsible global supply chain. She has an MS in Food Science from Cornell, an MBA from UConn and an MDiv from Yale.  She and her husband, Barney, have been married for over 32 years and they have three adult children.  Diane adds “it will be a joy to share the Good News with your congregation.”
