Join us for a discussion group in the Round Room

What does it mean to be loved by God? How might our lives and the communities in which we live be changed by learning to love ourselves and others in the way God loves human beings? Please join in a discussion about love, compassion and community on May 3, 10th and 17th from 7pm-8:30.  Our conversations will be centered on the book Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion by Gregory Boyle. Father Boyle writes:  “We seek to create loving communities of kinship…” He reminds us that in our perfectly imperfect condition, we are, as Jesus taught, “the light of the world.” Please feel free to attend whether or not you read the book. On May 3rd, we will discuss the Introduction and Chapter 1.

May 10-Ch. 3-“Compassion”

May 17th-Ch. 5-“Slow Work” and Ch. 6-“Jurisdiction”
