Understanding Islam
Please join us for a special presentation and discussion with Aida Mansoor on Sunday, May 21 from 2-5pm. Mansoor is a highly sought-after speaker and member of the Muslim Coalition of CT, dedicated to building bridges of understanding among world religions. Among her many degrees she has an MA from Hartford Seminary in Islamic Studies and Christian/Muslim Relations. Her presentation will include the history and spirituality of the Islamic faith, Muslim beliefs and practices, as well as experiences of American Muslims today. All are welcome to attend this unique opportunity to learn about Islam and, in the process, to learn about our own faith as well. Please save the date and invite others to attend.
